Carter is a Vice President at Trive Capital. His responsibilities include identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, performing transaction due diligence, and working with management teams to implement operational and growth strategies.
Before joining Trive, Carter was a Vice President at Renovo Capital, a lower middle market private equity firm. While at Renovo, Carter was involved in sourcing, executing and managing investments across the advanced manufacturing, specialty materials and industrial services verticals. Previously, Carter was an Associate at CenterOak Partners, where he evaluated private equity investment opportunities across a broad range of industries.
Carter began his career as an Analyst with J.P. Morgan’s Diversified Industries Investment Banking group, where he was involved in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets activities.
Carter graduated from the McCombs School of Business in the Canfield Business Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a BBA in Finance and a minor in Accounting.
