Trive Capital Announces Investment Professional Promotions and Additions

Dallas, Texas

Trive Capital (“Trive”), the Dallas-based private equity firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of David Stinnett and the addition of three new team members, Desmond Henry, Jared Reyes and Chase Gosselin.

David Stinnett has been promoted to Managing Director from Vice President. David joined Trive Capital at inception and participates in the firm’s sourcing and execution of new investments as well as operational activities within the Trive portfolio. Prior to Trive, David was with Insight Equity, where he was also involved in deal execution and operations for investments across a number of different industries, including automotive, infrastructure, and energy, among others. Prior to joining Insight, David was an Associate at Pamlico Capital (formerly Wachovia Capital Partners), a Charlotte, NC-based private equity fund with $2 billion of capital under management. While at Pamlico, he evaluated and executed middle market buyout and growth equity investments in the media, communication and technology service sectors. David began his career as an Analyst in the Merger & Acquisition group of McGladrey Capital Markets.

Desmond Henry joins Trive as a Managing Director. Prior to joining Trive, Desmond was a Managing Director at Black Canyon Capital, a $500 million private equity fund focused on middle market equity and debt opportunities within the business services, consumer, healthcare and industrial sectors. Prior to Black Canyon, Desmond was a Vice President in Merrill Lynch’s European M&A Group in London, where he executed numerous transactions for clients across a variety of industries including chemicals, financial institutions, general industries, media and real estate. Prior to his move to London in 1999, Desmond was a member of Merrill Lynch’s Technology M&A Group in San Francisco.

Jared Reyes joins Trive as an Associate from Rockland Capital where his primary responsibilities included evaluation and analysis of investment transactions in the energy sector. Prior to Rockland, Jared worked as an Analyst for Jefferies & Company in their Restructuring & Recapitalization Group. While at Jefferies, Jared was involved with a variety of transactions within the group, including creditor- and debtor-side restructurings and distressed mergers and acquisitions.

Chase Gosselin joins Trive as an Associate from Houlihan Lokey where he was an Analyst in their Mergers & Acquisitions Group and was involved with a variety of mergers, acquisitions and debt financings across various industries including: oilfield services, consumer & retail, and aerospace & defense. Prior to Houlihan Lokey, Chase was as an Analyst for Duff & Phelps in their Investment Banking Division, where he was involved with mergers and acquisitions in the healthcare and oilfield services industries.
